ALPFA honors KPMG professionals with diversity awards

ALPFA, the largest Latino association in the country, has awarded Louis Miramontes and Suzette Longfellow of KPMG with the ALPFA Lifetime Achievement and Executive of the Year Awards, respectively, for their promotion of diversity and inclusion in the accounting profession.

"We live in a time of great change when we are all challenged to think and act innovatively," saidCharles Garcia, ALPFA CEO, in a statement. "At the Gala Awards, a remarkable community of ALPFA supporters comes together to recognize leaders who have done incredible work to promote diversity and inclusion. Our distinguished honorees represent the best examples of a network working to empower Latino men and women in every sector of the American economy." 

Each year, ALPFA awards outstanding professionals who have substantially given back to their companies and communities, while furthering the purposes of ALPFA causes of diversity and inclusion.
