The Public Accounting Report's 29th Annual Survey of Accounting Professors named the undergraduate and graduate accounting programs at College of William & Mary’s Mason School of Business best in their group for the second year in a row. While the programs ranked first in faculty size-based Group III, the master of accountancy program ranked 22nd overall.

To create the list, PAR compiled the surveys more than 1,700 accounting educators, who ranked the programs on a 1 to 10 scale.

"We are pleased to be again considered number one among schools of our size, and I find particularly gratifying to be so highly regarded among all schools," said Mason School of Business Dean Lawrence B. Pulley in a statement.  "Since this is a ranking based on the opinions of our peers, it is a very strong—and fitting—endorsement of the achievements of our faculty and program leadership as well as our students and graduates."

William & Mary’s master of accountancy program ranked 25th overall last year.
