Frank Gonzalez, managing principal of the Miami office and principal-in-charge of the audit department of MBAF, was appointed to the board of the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors, an international organization serving the educational and transactional support needs of middle market M&A professionals worldwide.
LONDON
Sue Lloyd, vice-chair of the International Accounting Standards Board, was appointed the new chair of the IFRS Interpretations Committee. Additionally, Else Bos, Su-Keun Kwak and Guangyao Zhu were appointed trustees of the IFRS Foundation, following approval by the IFRS Foundation Monitoring Board, where they will be responsible for the governance and oversight of the International Accounting Standards Board. Bos is CEO of PGGM, a cooperative pension fund service provider in Zeist, the Netherlands; Kwak is a professor at Seoul National University’s business school and member of the Korea Accounting Standards Board’s Strategic Advisory Committee; and Zhu serves as vice finance minister in charge of the Customs Tariff Department for China’s Ministry of Finance.
