Business productivity software developer Abukai Inc. has released Abukai Expenses 2.0, its upgraded mobile receipt scanning service.

The new product offers electronic images of receipts that look just like paper copies; black and white receipt copies; and the ability to automatically rotate receipt sizes in reports based on the actual receipt.

In addition, Abukai has updated iPhone, Android and BlackBerry features to include an in-app form to request additional customization; a receipt view to double-check and review receipts; the ability to select frequent terms from a list of terms such as project codes, clients or attendees for a meal; the ability to turn on multi-activity reporting; out-of-pocket and monthly reporting features through a user portal or corporate; and the ability to post expenses directly to corporate systems and link Abukai to accounting and expense systems.

"Our customers know Abukai Expenses to be fast, simple and seamless and now they can experience even greater speed and enhanced capabilities with 2.0," said Abukai chief executive Philipp Schloter. "At Abukai we are focused on providing our customers with every advantage to be the most productive and efficient that they can be in today's competitive business landscape."

Abukai is now offering a free account, which includes 12 expense report submissions per year for every user. They are also offering an unlimited, single-user account for $99 per year. For more information or to install the product, visit http://abukai.com/install.
