Eide Bailly Acquires a North Dakota Firm

Voller, Lee, Suess & Associates has agreed to join Eide Bailly LLP. The deal is set to close by Dec. 1, 2012.

VLS currently generates $2.6 million in revenue.

The new addition, which has clients within the Bakken Oil Region of Western North Dakota, comes with three partners and 12 staff members. VLS shareholder, Rick Lee and Heidi Lee will join Eide Bailly as a partners while Nick Lee will serve as a principal.

VLS' clients are requesting more services to address their changing needs,” Jerry Topp, Eide Bailly’s managing partner and CEO, said in a statement. “By combining VLS with Eide Bailly, companies in Western North Dakota will have access to a full line of core and specialty services, while continuing to receive personal service from local professionals – which is important to them."

[IMGCAP(2)]Now that VLS has access to Eide Bailly’s resources, clients will have access to compliance and specialty services through one firm.

"We continue to strengthen our existing services and develop new offerings to address our clients' needs," Topp said. "For instance, we know that all companies with more than 50 full time employees will be affected by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act come January 2014. We have developed analytics to help companies evaluate their situation and determine the best health insurance options for their future."
