IRS Files Tax Lien against Rapper Bow Wow

The Internal Revenue Service has reportedly filed a tax lien against rap singer Bow Wow for $91,105.61 for unpaid taxes dating back to 2006.

The tax lien was filed in Florida against the 24-year-old singer and actor, who was born Shad Gregory Moss, according to TMZ.com. As a youngster, he performed under the stage name Lil’ Bow Wow.

However, Moss disputed the truth of the allegations on his blog. “We all know not to believe anything the media writes or blogs.” he wrote. “It’s their job to entertain the minds of the simple minded.” He added that he is finishing up work on his delayed album, “Underrated.”

The singer released his first album at the age of 13 and later began an acting career, including appearances on the TV series "Entourage" and the movies "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and "Johnson Family Vacation."
