Net@Work Expands into Canada

Major Sage reseller and Top 100 VAR Net@Work has expanded into Canada with the acquisition of award-winning Sage reseller Synergy Plus Solutions.

Synergy handles Sage 300 ERP (former Sage ERP Accpac) and Sage CRM. The acquisition brings Net@Work approximately 300 clients across Ontario and Michigan.

"We've known Synergy's president, Joe Santoro, for years, and have long admired Synergy as one of the most respected and influential Sage Software consulting practices in the business," said Net@Work co-president Alex Solomon. "We've been looking for the right opportunity to enter the dynamic Canadian market." He added that the firm wold be looking to identify other strategic acquisitions to help it expand across all of Canada.

"A number of years ago a Sage executive pointed to [co-presidents] Alex and Eddie Solomon and the Net@Work team as an emerging force in this industry, given the way they manage their practice, cultivate partners, and service their growing customer base," said Santoro, who will serve as Net@Work's Sage 300 ERP practice director. "We soon realized that our organizations shared the same core values, chiefly an emphasis on uncompromising customer service."

The Synergy team will remain headquartered in Windsor, with a presence in Troy, Michigan.
