Tax technologies concern New River Innovation has released Beyond415 Guidance, a Web-based research center for resolving issues after tax filing.

The product features searchable guidance covering individual, business and payroll areas of IRS practice and procedure. Beyond415’s team of tax experts writes the system’s guidance and keeps it up to date as changes happen at the IRS.
“Based on feedback from hundreds of firms, we know that practitioners require a practical and easy-to-navigate research tool for IRS practice and procedure,” said New River co-founder Jim Buttonow. “Instead of sifting through outdated books or searching the Internet, practitioners can find post-filing information in one place. Our goal is to provide authoritative content at a great value to make this research easier for practitioners.”
Features of the new product include a visual process map for navigating each issue from beginning to end; a glance at how each issue works in practice; a comprehensive IRS notice database; issue-specific guides for gathering all the facts; sample call scripts and document sets for responding to the IRS; and an IRS directory with specific IRS contact information, including hotlines and directories for specific code sections and business units at the IRS.
Beyond415 Guidance is offered through providers such as ADP, CCH, Drake Software, the National Association of Tax Professionals and Sage, or directly at www.Beyond415.com.
