PMB Helin Donovan Merges in BBR LLP

PMB Helin Donovan LLP of Austin, Texas has merged in San Francisco-based BBR LLP.

The merger increases PMB Helin Donovan’s revenues by 30 percent, to more than $21 million annually.

BBR’s 40 employees and partners will join the staff of PMB Helin Donovan, bringing the firm’s total headcount up to approximately 165. BBR's employees are spread throughout three Bay Area locations: Walnut Creek, Carmel and Salinas, Calif.

Chris Steinbruner, formerly BBR’s managing partner, has been tapped to serve as PMB Helin Donovan’s West Coast tax partner-in-charge. Steinbruner stated that the firm intends to add five accounting professionals to its staff sometime this year.
