CPA and business advisory firm ParenteBeard has merged in Huntingdon Valley-based Pressman Ciocca Smith effective December 1.
Terms of the merger, which expanded the firm’s regional footprint in Philadelphia, were not disclosed. Going forward, the combined entity will operate under the ParenteBeard name.
Established in 1940, Pressman Ciocca Smith brings three partners and 20 staff to ParenteBeard.
Both firms provide audit, accounting, tax, and consulting services to large and small companies in a number of client industries, including manufacturing, distribution and wholesale, education, construction and not-for-profits.
ParenteBeard ranked No. 21 on Accounting Today’s 2010 Top 100 Firms list with revenues of $172.3 million.
