COLORADO

Scott Grimm has been admitted as a partner at Anton Collins Mitchell LLP, Denver.

Nancy Chan has rejoined KPMG LLP as a managing director in the firm’s Federal Tax practice in Los Angeles. 

ILLINOIS

Diann Finley and Joe Casey has joined Michael Silver & Company CPAs, Skokie, as tax manager and tax accountant respectively, to the firm’s tax compliance and consulting practice team. …Genevra Knight has been admitted as partner at PorteBrown LLC, Elk Grove Village. … Susan Huizinga has been promoted to partner at Rozovics Group PC, Chicago.

INDIANA

The Indiana CPA Society hired Jenny Norris, as vice president – finance. Norris has over 20 years of association financial experience. In her role at the Society, she will oversee the finance, IT and peer review functions. She also will serve as staff liaison to the Society’s ethics committee. Prior to ICPAS, Norris spent 12 years at the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS, where she worked as a finance director. Sherrill Rude, was promoted to vice president- advocacy at the Society. Rude joined the staff in 2007 and recently served as the Society's director of leadership and advocacy.

LOUISIANA

Ken Merchant, Ph.D., has been awarded the 2013 Lifetime Contribution Award by the AICPA and the Management Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association. Merchant was honored for his research on relevant topics that advance business practice, innovative case-based teaching focused on how business actually operates, and his service to both companies and professional organizations. …Ramji Balakrishnan, Eva Labro, and Konduru Sivaramakrishnan have received AAA’s Greatest Potential Impact on Management Accounting Practice Award. … Bradley Tate has joined Postlethwaite & Netterville, manager in the firm’s Tax Services Group. Prior to joining P&N, Tate worked as a tax counsel at The Shaw Group Inc. In addition, P&N announced that it promoted more than 40 staff members throughout the firm. Brad Hoffman and Dan Dellon have joined DeLeon & Stang, Gaithersburg. Hoffman joined as a senior manager while Dellon joined as a tax manager. …Dina Bernstein, Scott Mattingly, Chad Seifert, and Ryan D. Sturm, have been promoted to principals at KatzAbosch, Timonium.

MASSACHUSETTS

David Keyo has been named shareholder and vice president G.T. Reilly & Co., Milton.

MICHIGAN

Todd Groeneveld and Stephen Mihalik were promoted to shareholders at the Troy-based firm, Doeren Mayhew. Thomas Hollerback is now the president and CEO Yeo & Yeo CPAs.  He assumes responsibility for the firm's eight Michigan offices.  In addition to managing the CPA practice, he becomes the CEO of affiliates Yeo & Yeo Computer Consulting and Affiliated Medical Billing.

Lassus Wherley president of Diahann W. Lassus was selected as a 2013 Five Star Wealth Manager for the third year in a row.

Richard Gordon has joined Citrin Cooperman, New York, as partner in the firm’s business management and family office sector of the entertainment, music and sports practice. TEXAS

Alex Capri has rejoined KPMG LLP as a managing director with the Trade and Customs Services practice in the firm’s International Corporate Services in Houston. … Mark Strippy has joined BenefitMall Co.’s payroll, tax filing and HR-related service provider, CompuPay, as senior vice president where he will head up payroll operations in Dallas.
