Accounting Today has released its Top 100 Firms and Regional Leaders report for 2013, ranking the largest firms in the U.S. and in regions across the country.

The annual lists rank U.S.-based firms by their net revenue; the 2013 lists are based on data from 2012. The Top 100 Firms grew their net revenues just over 8 percent in 2012, which was in line with the growth they experienced in 2011. In addition, far fewer firms reported shrinking their overall head counts.

Growth in the regions average around 7 percent; it ranged from a low of 5 percent for the Mid-Atlantic Region to a high of around 10 percent for the Gulf Coast, representing a narrower range than in 2011.
