Berwyn, Pa. (April 6, 2010)

Vertex has enhanced its corporate tax software, the Indirect Tax O Series, with extra features including better management of tax exemption certificates.

The new release’s embedded certificate management features automate the collection, validation, and maintenance of North American tax exemption certificates.

Other new features allow organizations to use a single monthly data file for streamlined rate and rule change management. The software also includes Brazilian compliance enhancements and processing of import value-added taxes. The data extract tool now provides multiple templates that may be used to develop custom extracts.
