XCM Offers Workflow for Small Firms

Braintree, Mass. (May 20, 2009)

XCM Solutions has introduced streamlined versions of its accounting firm workflow software for sole practitioners and small firms.

XCMessential and XCMessential Plus are being sold as a monthly service, with an upgrade path to the full version of XCM. Both products provide a personal home page for each user, due date monitoring and tracking, knowledge management, client service and management reporting, and integration with Windows Explorer. Firms can choose among four workflow categories, including tax, bookkeeping/accounting, financial, or other (for proposals, HR, etc.), to suit their own practice areas.

XCMessential is designed for one- to five-person firms with one practice area, and costs $95 per month. XCMessential Plus targets firms with six to 10 people, or firms that have two practice areas, and sells for $150 per month. A one-time $500 fee covers setup, training and support services. A free 30-day trial is available.
