Cloud-based workflow software provider XCM Solutions has joined the CPA-focused strategic alliance formed in 2010 by Fujitsu and cloud-based sales tax automation service provider SpeedTax, with the goal of educating and gaining further access to firms who would be most interested in their services.

Fujitsu, SpeedTax and XCM currently work directly with  CPA firms of all sizes, and share the goal of sponsoring education and thought leadership initiatives that help firms better understand how new technology adoption leads to improved client service and retention, and ultimately to firm growth, according to CPA and XCM president Glen Keenan.

“The most exciting part [of the alliance] for us is we’re like-minded vendors and they have a good foothold in the industry. So much of what firms are going through is education and the need to accelerate technology implementation and this partnership allows us to be a part of that,” said Keenan. “This [alliance] also gives us more resources and reach for our clients. SpeedTax and Fujitsu have deep client bases and they are progressive firms too, so now XCM becomes valuable to them.”

Keenan added that they will co-promote with Fujitsu and SpeedTax at upcoming industry conferences as well as their own user conference later this year. As such, XCM will be cross-educating their sales and marketing staff to help promote all products and services.
