OfficeTools plans to integrate its practice management software WorkSpace with Crexendo, a provider of cloud-based communication services.
As part of the deal, OfficeTools will become an official reseller of Crexendo telephone systems, and the two companies will collaborate on a proprietary integration with the next generation version of OfficeTools WorkSpace, due in 2017.

Crexendo delivers voice and data technology infrastructure services to startups, small and midsize businesses. OfficeTools provides practice management software and educational resources for firms in the tax preparation and accounting profession.
