CCH Adds Mobile Tax Info Apps

CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, has released two new mobile tax information apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices—CCH Applicable Federal Rates 2012 and CCH Tax Rates and Tables 2012—adding to its line of mobile applications.

The CCH Tax Rates and Tables 2012 app offers frequently used statistics and figures used to prepare federal tax forms. Federal income tax rates for 2012 and 2011 are available through the app as well as other tax rates and tax tables for years 2008 - 2011. Additional information includes tax credit and deduction amounts; EIC amounts; business deductions; rules for retirement and health care plans; selected depreciation tables; and the latest estate and gift tax rates.

The CCH Applicable Federal Rates 2012 app tracks a variety of applicable federal tax rates that are provided by the IRS. The rates are issued each month by the IRS in connection with various provisions of the Internal Revenue Code. The new app also provides these updated rates whenever tax practitioners need the latest data.

“Advanced mobility and easier access to data is enabling more tax professionals to get more work done away from the office than ever before,” said CCH’s product marketing manager Cindy Kaplan. “These latest apps quickly deliver updated tax rate and table information simply by tapping an icon on a smartphone or tablet—making it easier to access fast answers when visiting clients, and just in time for tax season.”

Each app can be accessed for $2.99 each.
