CCH’s ProSystem fx Mobile App is now available for free download in time for tax season, allowing users to connect with client databases, view files and publish documents to clients’ portals with their iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

The app is free to download with premium features for a 90-day trial before licensing is required. By tapping the app icon, users can access client contact information, review documents and communicate with clients. All data is stored on CCH servers.

CCH announced in November that the app would be available for free download by tax season. Several features have been added to the app since the announcement, including the extension of a free trial through April 15; the ability for CCH SaaS customers to experience the app using their firm’s actual data; and sample data is accessible for any firm not currently a CCH SaaS customer.

“A truly mobile workforce requires unlimited access to firm data wherever and whenever they need it,” said CCH Mobile Solutions director Elizabeth Weissman. “The advanced technology and simplicity offered by the ProSystem fx Mobile App enables tax pros to stay connected to their office, access critical data within their other CCH ProSystem fx solutions and deliver more value to clients with real-time, on-demand service.”

ProSystem fx Mobile is an extension of the ProSystem fx Suite – enabling users to retrieve information from ProSystem fx Tax SaaS; ProSystem fx Document SaaS; and ProSystem fx Portal.

Planned enhancements will expand app functionality to include other ProSystem fx Suite products including ProSystem fx Workstream and ProSystem fx Practice SaaS.
