CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, released new mobile applications to monitor the status of e-filed returns, as well as access to client data in ProSystem fx.

First, CCH's new Mobile Electronic Filing Status app enhances the ability to monitor the status of e-filed tax returns from a smartphone or tablet. Users will simply click the ELF icon on their mobile devices for the latest information.

Also, with the new ProSystem fx Mobile App, accounting and tax professionals can access client contact information, including addresses, phone numbers and email addresses, which are stored on CCH servers. ProSystem fx Mobile also lets users access their ProSystem Practice Intelligence content, but will soon expand to include other ProSystem fx Suite products and information.

The ProSystem fx Mobile App also connects tax and accounting professionals with CCH IntelliConnect.  

"These new applications are the next steps in the natural progression of leveraging advanced technology to increase mobility and flexibility for tax and accounting professionals—so they can serve their clients from wherever they may be," said CCH product manager Angela Askew.

Both mobile apps will be available for free downloads by the end of 2012 on Apple iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
