Doeren Mayhew has elected Chad Anschuetz as the Top 100 Firm’s new managing shareholder and chairman.
Anschuetz’s term began Oct. 1 after he was elected to lead the firm by the board and his fellow shareholders. He will be in charge of Doeren Mayhew’s growth, strategy and client service. He has been a shareholder at the firm for 16 years, and a member of the management committee and human resource committee. Anschuetz has worked for the past 26 years at Doeren Mayhew.

He succeeds Mark Crawford, who has been managing shareholder and chairman since 1995, and served at the firm for 41 years. “I am pleased to have had the opportunity to serve as Doeren Mayhew’s managing shareholder for the last two-plus decades and am proud of what the firm has become,” Crawford said in a statement. “More so, I’m excited to see what the future holds for the firm. Chad has played an integral part in the firm’s development over the years, and I am confident our employees and clients are in good hands with him at the helm.”
Doeren Mayhew, based in Troy, Mich., ranked 57th on Accounting Today's 2017 list of the Top 100 Firms.
