Everlance now integrates with Xero and FreshBooks

Mileage and expense tracking app Everlance has reached the 500,000-user milestone. In addition, the app will now integrate with Xero and FreshBooks accounting software.

Everlance, which was founded in 2015, reports that its user base increased in size tenfold over the last two years. The app uses GPS to learn a user’s favorite locations and can also classify commutes. It does the same for learning favorite merchants from credit card use.

The integration with Xero and FreshBooks follows Everlance’s bank and credit card integration announced earlier this year. According to the company, the “natural next step” was to bring data from the app into users’ accounting software of choice.

“We launched Everlance in 2015 to replace the two most common ‘technologies’ used for documenting business expenses and mileage — the shoebox of receipts and the paper mileage log,” said Alex Marlantes, CEO of Everlance, in a statement. “We're thrilled to be working with FreshBooks and Xero. In addition to being fantastic products and common requests from users, we all share a common vision of using automation to make the frustrating parts of being an independent worker completely disappear.”

While Xero serves small to midsized accounting firms and their small business clients, FreshBooks is more targeted at the freelancer market.

The Everlance integration can be accessed from the app’s web dashboard under “Reports,” then “Send to Integrations.” Xero and FreshBooks customers can get two months free access to Everlance Premium at www.everlance.com/xero or www.everlance.com/freshbooks.
