ILLINOIS

Sikich LLP, Naperville, has been named to the 9th Annual MSPmentor 501 Global Edition for 2016, ranking in the top 25 percent of the world’s top managed service providers.

 

INDIANA

The Indiana CPA Society’s CPA Center of Excellence has received a 2016 'Power of A' Summit Award from the American Society of Association Executives. The awards showcase how associations leverage their unique resources to solve problems, advance industry/professional performance, kickstart innovation and improve world conditions.

KANSAS

Mize Houser & Co. PA, Overland Park, is marking the 60th anniversary of the firms founding by Bob Mize and Ralph Houser on July 1, 1956. With locations in Overland Park, Topeka and Lawrence, the firm now has more than 225 employees. It plans a number of events to celebrate, including a firm picnic and a variety of charitable activities.

MARYLAND

Partners and managers from Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell, along with their guests, participated in the firm’s Annual Charity Fishing Challenge, which was held in conjunction with the 35th Annual Pro-Am Fishing Tournament in Chesapeake. CBM entered two boats into the tournament. … Nonprofit software developer Grants Management Systems Inc., Kensington, is partnering with HR consultant Drake Maynard and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Government Professor Diane M. NEW JERSEY

Nisivoccia LLP, Mt. Arlington, received the Best Company Special Promotion Award at the 32nd Annual Metropolitan Builders & Contractors Association's Awards of Excellence event. Nisivoccia’s winning Special Promotion was its "Our Clients Finish Strong" campaign, which was centered around two walk/run events in Fall 2015 and consisted of giveaway sneaker wallets that included the firm’s name and logo.

NEW YORK

The event will focus on personal security and health issues for high-net-worth and executive women, with environmental activist Erin Brockovich delivering the keynote address.

PENNSYLVANIA

Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, Camp Hill, has received a When Work Works Award from the Families and Work Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management.

SOUTH CAROLINA

Scott and Co. LLC, Columbia and Grenville, has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina for the fifth consecutive year by SC Biz News, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.

 

TEXAS

Blue & Co. LLC has moved its Dallas office to a new downtown location at 1701 N. Market St., Suite 200. It will share the space with Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman PC.

VIRGINIA
