Grant Thornton Achieves Record Revenues of $1.45B

Grant Thornton LLP, the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd, said Tuesday it earned revenues of $1.45 billion for fiscal year 2015, which ended July 31, 2015, a new record for the firm, representing a 6.9 percent increase over the previous fiscal year under a new CEO.

“Our financial results are a direct reflection of the value we’re providing to our clients,” said Grant Thornton LLP CEO Mike McGuire in a statement. “When we come to the table with all our capabilities, offer solutions and deliver outstanding service quality, clients give us more of their business, and recommend us to others. This is how we’re growing our firm.”

Organic growth for Grant Thornton was strong across all the firm’s businesses and industry groups, with Consumer & Industrial Products, Energy and Financial Services practices seeing double-digit gains.

The 6.9 percent growth rate for total revenue eclipses that of fiscal year 2014, in which Grant Thornton produced revenues of $1.35 billion. GT said this is the second consecutive year the firm has posted revenue growth above six percent.

McGuire was elected chief executive officer by the partners of Grant Thornton LLP in June 2014. He has been with Grant Thornton since 2002.
