New QuickBooks iPad POS Solutions for Salons, Groceries Launched

Revel Systems, an iPad Point of Sale management solution for brick-and-mortar stores, is launching salon and grocery vertical solutions that integrate with Intuit’s QuickBooks.

The expansion follows earlier releases of QuickBooks Point of Sale for retail and restaurants, both of which are powered by Revel Systems. According to Revel Systems, they have seen increased demand from salon and grocery store owners and operators looking to stay competitive with up-do-date payment technology.

New features for QuickBooks POS for salons include appointment scheduling, add-on services and products, and employee management and assignments. For groceries, the new features include integrated scales and price embedded barcode labels.

“QuickBooks Point of Sale for Salon and Grocery not only address the unique needs of small businesses in important verticals, but also ensure they never lose a sale and have all the industry-specific tools they need to thrive,” stated Karen Peacock, senior vice president of small business at Intuit. “By integrating with QuickBooks Online, these new iPad POS solutions allow salon and grocery store owners to focus on running their business, rather than worrying about their books, with automatic data transfers and instant insights.”
