Kathi Metter has been named director of learning and education at the global tax and business advisory firm, WTP Advisors. Mettler is also an assistant professor of the practice teaching at Fairfield University, and formerly led PwC’s international tax learning and education program. Kevin Goldstein has joined Rothstein Kass as a director in the Business Advisory Services practice in its New York City office. Goldstein will advise clients, including hedge funds, funds of funds, mutual funds, private equity managers, broker-dealers, RIAs and family offices, on matters such as business strategy, new product development, infrastructure, technology assessments and more.
Matt Kramer has been named managing partner of KPMG's Columbus office. Kramer will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the 150 person office. Kramer has led KPMG's Columbus practice for the last 11 years. He joined the Columbus office in 1993 and was named a partner in 2004. Kramer succeeds Philip Smith, who will be assuming a national market development leadership position with the firm.

David Kirk, former tax attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service, has joined Ernst & Young LLP’s Washington, DC office as an executive director in the personal financial services practice. While at the IRS, Kirk was one of the principal authors of the net investment income tax regulations under Section 1411 of the Internal Revenue Code and also with respect to guidance addressing S corporation issues.
