Hyun Kim will be primarily responsible for tax planning and compliance activities, including tax minimization strategies for high net worth individuals, family offices, private foundations and closely-held businesses. He is a member of the AICPA and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Kim, a certified public accountant, graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. Kevin Ward will concentrate on tax planning and compliance activities, including tax minimization strategies for a diverse client base that includes high net worth individuals and fiduciaries. He will also devote time and energies to TAG’s growing Family Office practice. A certified public accountant, Ward graduated with a Bachelor of Science in finance and accounting from the University of Delaware. He recently became a member of the AICPA and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Kathleen McLaughlin has been promoted to managing director and Employee Benefit Plan industry leader for Grant Thornton’s Atlantic Coast region, and will be based in Philadelphia.

Mike Buzas, a partner and practice director for the Management Advisory Services at Halt, Buzas and Powell, Ltd, has retired from the firm. Buzas’ retirement will bring to a close 22 years of service to the firm. Buzas joined the firm in July 1993 and became a partner with a firm in 1994. He has served a diverse range of clients in the areas of business reengineering, design and management of financial systems, process innovation, system security, and business development. Buzas began his financial systems career as a senior consultant at Arthur, Andersen & Company. Julius Cline has joined Broussard Partners & Associates as a senior examiner after working more than 30 years with the Louisiana Department of Revenue.
