BlackLine Systems CEO and founder Therese Tucker has been named to the 2014 list of the ‘Top Women of Influence in Los Angeles’. Tucker was recognized alongside senior executives from other leading high-growth, consulting and investment firms such as Ernst & Young, Deloitte, Google, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo.

Becky Bokrand, a team member at Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company PA, has been appointed to serve a three year term on the Florida Bar’s Twentieth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee. The local grievance committees are composed of lawyers and nonlawyers whom are responsible for continuing the investigation of possible lawyer misconduct referred by Bar discipline attorneys. Bokrand is a licensed CPA by the Florida State Board of Accountancy. She is Certified in Financial Forensics from the AICPAs and holds the designation Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. … Heisy Kamsler and Renee Allison Campbell have joined CBIZ MHM, Tampa Bay as a tax associates. David Brett and Sean Rykwalder have joined CBIZ MHM, Tampa Bay as an assurance associates.

MICHIGAN

PwC US announced today that five professionals from its Greater Michigan Market will be admitted into the firm's partnership, effective July 1, 2014. Luke Cherveny, Justin Cook, Dennis Curtis, Sebastian de Meel and Eric Schwartz will be admitted as partners throughout the practices of PwC in the Greater Michigan market.

Terence Connors, a senior audit partner, has been named president of The National Association of Corporate Directors in Philadelphia.

UNITED KINGDOM

Malcolm Ward has been named CEO of AGN’s International in London. Ward’s predecessor, Nicholas Blake, retired May 27, 2014 after 18 years at the organization.

WASHINGTON

Clark Nuber PS, Seattle, has promoted several staff members throughout the firm. Mike Nurse has been promoted to manager in the accounting and consulting services department. Meredith Matches, Zachary Pauw, Jennelle Riffe, and Brett Withers, were promoted to seniors in the audit and assurance services department. The firm hired Kenzie Fleischman and Mariya Sichkar as an audit interns, and Valerie Sias as a marketing coordinator.
