Chargify expands into revenue management for SaaS-model businesses

Chargify, which makes subscription billing software for businesses, has expanded into revenue management with the release of the Sales Commission Calculator and Revenue Alerts. The expanded platform now give merchants a solution to fully manage their revenue with key features and capabilities in three main areas: elastic billing, revenue operations (RevOps) and SaaS insights. Avii adds new practice management features

Avii, which makes accounting automation solutions, has released new tools and updated others to address what it calls "traditional bottlenecks" in accounting. The company’s practice management platform, Avii Workspace, has new components that automate the exchange of documents and data communication. These functions were designed with new client intake in mind, but can also be used in any other area of tax accounting.

Also new in Avii Workspace, client information and communications are now handled through a single portal that uses prompts and automates the entire process. The software will alert users if one piece of information is missing or conflicts with another.

MineralTree names new chief product officer

MineralTree, which makes accounts payable and payment automation software, has named Elizabeth Kowal as its new chief product officer. Most recently, Kowal served as head of product management and delivery for the billing and payments group at Fiserv. Prior to her time at Fiserv, Kowal held various senior product leadership roles within the payments and cash management functions at both Webster Bank and First National Bank of Litchfield. MineralTree hopes to harness her experience managing billing and payment products internally for financial institutions as it grows its AP and B2B payment automation solution offered through financial institutions.
