Anaplan names new chief growth officer
Anaplan, which makes business planning software, has named Mark Anderson its new chief growth officer. Anderson was most recently at Palo Alto Networks, where he served as president and chief revenue officer since 2012. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president of worldwide sales at F5 Networks, where he managed a 1,000-person sales team and helped grow the company’s annual revenue to more than $1 billion.
WorkFusion’s Intelligent Automation Cloud achieves certified integration with SAP S/4HANA
WorkFusion’s Intelligent Automation Cloud has achieved SAP certification for integration with SAP S/4HANA. WorkFusion’s product helps organizations accelerate the rollout of viable automation. It has built-in artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, which allow business users to create process automation bots with little to no code. With the new SAP certification, Intelligent Automation Cloud can be utilized from within the S/4HANA platform.
U.K. fintech company Countingup opens Cardiff office
Countingup, which makes a small business banking and accounting app for U.K. customers, will focus on providing account management and out-of-hours customer support from the new Cardiff base. The account management team reports it has already seen several team members join with recruitment currently underway for the customer support team. Countingup was approached by the city of Cardiff, which is the capital of Wales, as part of its strategy to attract technology companies to the area.
