Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, Chicago, was named a 2017 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplace by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, which annually announces America’s top 100 adoption-friendly employers from its annual survey of U.S. employers. Rankings are determined by an analysis of a company’s adoption benefits, including the maximum amount of financial reimbursement and paid leave for families who adopt.

Plante Moran, Southfield, Mich., opened an office in Tokyo, to be led by Eigo Yamamoto, principal in the firm’s management consulting practice, and supported by the firm’s Japanese business services team. The new office will be located at 4-11, Kojimachi 2-chome, Chiyoda-ku, within access to the core business district in Downtown Tokyo and walking distance of the Imperial Palace.

WithumSmith+Brown completed the relocation of more than 150 employees from its New Brunswick-based office to 1 Tower Center Boulevard, East Brunswick, a new 46,234-square-foot office space that incorporates recycled content and diverts 34,873 pounds of construction waste from landfills.
