The New Jersey Society of CPAs, Roseland, is accepting nominations for its Diversity and Inclusion Impact Award by May 19. The award recognizes diverse CPAs who have championed diversity in the hiring, retention and promotion of CPAs and those who have exhibited best practices in diversity. While non-CPAs and those who aren’t members of the NJCPA are eligible for the award, nominees must work at a company, CPA firm, nonprofit, government office, or within academia with at least one NJCPA member. The registration form is available at njcpa.org/awards, with winners selected by a panel of volunteer members and then announced June 15 at the NJCPA Convention and Expo.

BST & Co., Albany, acquired the finance, management and accounting services company CFO for Hire, which will operate under the BST banner and enhance and complement BST’s current tax planning, financial consulting and business valuation service offerings. CFO for Hire’s 19 staff members have made the transition to BST and the new division will be led by CFO fir Hire founder Jim Lozano.
