LemonEdge raises $2.5M to build accounting software for firms

LemonEdge, formerly LemonTree Software, has secured $2.5 million in an oversubscribed funding round. LemonEdge makes software to help firms in the private equity and financial services industries — especially those still running on legacy systems — digitize their complex accounting. LemonEdge’s low-code platform is customizable and automates tasks required for accounting, performance calculations and fund administration. The platform also provides scenario modelling with its Canvas function.

Vertex and Alfa integrate software for auto leasing companies

Vertex, which provides tax automation solutions, has deepened its partnership with Alfa for indirect tax compliance. Vertex Lease Tax O Series now integrates with Alfa Start, which is built for automobile-leasing operations of all sizes.

Airbase raises $60 million for spend management platform

Airbase, which makes a spend management platform for small to midsized companies, has secured a $60 million Series B funding round led by Menlo Ventures. The round brings Airbase's total venture funding to $91 million. This round of funds is earmarked to continue development of a comprehensive spend management platform.
