Natalie Cohen and Hayes Hokanson were promoted to principals at Dark Horse CPAs, Cardiff by the Sea.

BPM, San Francisco, was recognized as a Registered Provider Organization by the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body.

Meredith Damm

Meredith Damm was hired as managing director of transaction advisory services at Hancock Askew, Atlanta.

ILLINOIS

BDO Alliance USA, Chicago, announced Anduin will be providing its intelligence-based billing to members of the BDO Alliance as part of its vendor marketing program.

INDIANA

The Indiana CPA Society, Indianapolis, participated in virtual CPA Week, with 24 INCPAS member volunteers participating in 30 virtual high school presentations, reaching nine Indiana cities, 11 high schools and nearly 450 high school students.

MARYLAND

Accounting Seed, Columbia, released an accounting rap video, “Accounting: Scale, Scale, Scale,” starring founder and CEO Tony Zorc, which can be viewed on Accounting Seed’s website.

Garret Layman

BKD, St. Louis, released the tool BKDpulse, a dashboard suite enabling college and university leaders to assess how their institution’s financial metrics and performance indicators compare to their industry peers.

Anders CPAs + Advisors, St. Louis, was selected by producers of the TV show “World’s Greatest…” to be featured on a segment for the accounting industry, to be aired May 15, May 22 and May 29 at 2:30 p.m. CT on Bloomberg TV, and then available on the “World’s Greatest” website.

Shanté George

Shanté George was appointed chief of staff at Baker Tilly US, New York, where she has worked since 2016 and was promoted to partner in 2019, succeeding Jacqueline Wiggins, who transitioned to chief strategy officer, joining the firm’s senior leadership team.

Pamela Powers, Michael Westphal and Chad Poppell joined as managing directors, and Maria Voreh joined as a director, of the federal advisory practice of KPMG.

Sherry Cracium-Bolin

Sherry Cracium-Bolin, principal and shareholder at Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, Camp Hill, was named one of Central Penn Business Journal’s 2021 Women of Influence, which recognizes women who have made significant contributions to their respective fields and for their leadership in Central Pennsylvania.

Larry Autrey

Larry Autrey, managing partner at Whitley Penn, Fort Worth, was selected to appear in Fort Worth Inc.’s The 400, a listing recognizing Fort Worth’s most influential people.
