The New Jersey Society of CPAs, Roseland, launched its 13th annual food drive to benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, accepting both physical and online donations at various locations throughout the state from Sept. 26 through Nov. 18.

CohnReznick, New York, announced the winners of its inaugural Gamechangers in ESG Awards program, recognizing U.S.-based businesses that are "changing the game" through their commitment to environmental, social, and governance strategies and practices. The 2022 winners are: Sunwealth, Gamechanger of the Year 2022; The AZEK Company; Esusu; Mercy Housing; and Melissa Weidner from the University of Dayton, the NexGen student award winner. CohnReznick also named as Gamechangers to Watch: Agios Pharmaceuticals, Canyon Coffee, Force Blue, Inc., North Sky Capital, and Volt Energy Utility LLC. In other firm news, CohnReznick was authorized by the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification accreditation body as a CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization.

PENNSYLVANIA

Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz raised $3,535 to benefit the United Way of the Capital Region through the BSSF 2022 Mini Golf Tournament, held Aug. 24 at BSSF's Camp Hill office where 20 teams of more than 80 players participated.
