Robert Traphagen, managing partner at Traphagen CPAs & Wealth Advisors, Oradell, was given the 2023 Lifetime Leader Award by the New Jersey Society of CPAs.

NORTH CAROLINA

Cherry Bekaert

Cherry Bekaert, Raleigh, announced some successes for its Cherry Bekaert Foundation over the last year: 669 team members contributed 2,393 volunteer hours to more than 35 nonprofit organizations championing various causes, including supporting food pantries, after-school programs for children in need, and animal rescue organizations, with $9,470 in monetary donations to charities and an estimated $6,825 in in-kind donations.

Gerald Wik

Gerald Wik was named to the newly created role of president at Centri Business Consulting, Philadelphia, where he has worked for over 11 years and will now be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the business.

Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, Camp Hill, announced it will be changing its name to Brown Plus, effective Jan. 1, 2024. Brown honors the roots of the firm's founding and Plus represents the firm's advisory services.

David Harwood

David Harwood was hired as an audit partner in the Dallas market at Forvis.
