Trevor Coe, Ricardo Martinez and Adam Travaglione

Forvis announced an expansion into the San Francisco Bay area, its second California market following its presence in the Los Angeles area. Partner Ricardo Martinez will serve as the Northern California market leader and California technology and services market industry leader and will be joined in the office by director Trevor Coe and senior manager Adam Travaglione.

Kimberly Kilkenney

Kimberly Kilkenney was hired as principal and chief people officer at CohnReznick, Denver.

GEORGIA

Evolve Partners announced its formation and launch as a consultancy collective serving professionals and financial services firms, co-founded by Danielle Berg, C-suite leader and CEO advisor.

KENTUCKY

DMLO CPAs + Advisors, Louisville, returned to BKR International, where it previously was a member firm.

MASSACHUSETTS

The Massachusetts Society of CPAs announced Governor Maura Healey declared November Accounting Opportunities Experience Month in recognition of MassCPAs' collaborative effort with the American Institute of CPAs and several other state CPA societies. Throughout the month, MassCPAs staff and members will be visiting 20 high schools across the state to raise awareness of diverse career paths within the accounting profession.

NEW JERSEY

Sax, Parsippany, appointed five new partners: Joseph Bulger private client services leader; Rory Cahill in the tax department; Julio Jimenez, partner-in-charge of the tax controversy practice; Mateo Perezrodriguez, strategy lead for the transaction strategy and transformation practice; Peter Scalise, tax partner and the federal tax credits and incentives practice leader; and Eric Lewandowski, leader of the transaction strategy and transformation practice.

The New Jersey Society of CPAs recognized Nov. 5-11 as Certified Public Accountants Week, created to increase awareness of the exemplary role that CPAs play in society.

NEW YORK

CohnReznick, New York, announced the winners of its second annual Gamechangers in ESG Awards program. Winners for ESG Business Strategies by a For-Profit Company were Anterix and EDP Renewables North America; and for ESG Cause by a Not-for-Profit: Eden Housing and Rethink Food.

OHIO

The Ohio Society of CPAs held a Workforce Development Summit in Columbus, convening leaders from across the state to begin forming a coalition that will work toward transforming the talent pipeline.

Moss Adams added to its forest products practice in Eugene: Brent Laird as a tax partner, David Antoni as managing director, and McKenzie Lubeck as a senior manager.

Emily Jilka was hired as a manager in the audit services group and Eric Scarcella as communications manager in the marketing department at RKL, Lancaster.

Robert Allen

Whitley Penn, Fort Worth, promoted to partner, effective Jan. 1, 2024: Robert Allen in forensic, litigation and valuation services; Justin Dailey, Evan Green and Jackson Jones in audit; Jeff Howard in client accounting and advisory services energy; Emily Landry in tax/client accounting and advisory services; and Hudson Marx and Adam Menzer in tax.

Tony Enlow was hired as managing director of transaction advisory services at Bennett Thrasher, Dallas.

UNITED KINGDOM

Lee White
