On the move: Forvis Mazars names health care MP

Forvis Mazars named a new managing partner of its health care practice; CohnReznick appointed a pair of managing directors; Dean Dorton opened a second Cincinnati office; and more news from across the profession.

KENTUCKY

David Tate

Forvis Mazars named David Tate, who previously served as managing partner for the firm's Louisville-Southern Indiana practice unit, as managing partner of its health care consulting practice, Louisville, succeeding Kevin Locke, who is retiring May 31. The firm also named Jennifer Williams market leader for Louisville, succeeding Tate.

MICHIGAN

UHY Advisors

Joseph Serra, recently senior partner at Metzler Locricchio Serra & Co., joined UHY as a managing director in the tax practice, along with MLS team members Monica Malloy and Nick Zobel, who will all be based in the firm's Great Lakes offices.

NEW YORK

CohnReznick hired Nicholas Papke as managing director in the transaction advisory practice and Robert Frezza as managing director in the national restructuring and dispute resolution practice.

Grassi appointed Brian McCuller as tax practice leader, and Gabe Shurek as co-leader and partner in the forensic, litigation and valuation practice, and promoted William Rust to tax partner.

OHIO

Dean Dorton opened a second Cincinnati office, in West Chester at 9025 Centre Point Drive.

OKLAHOMA

Cody Quimby

Cody Quimby was appointed tax partner at Weaver, Oklahoma City.

PENNSYLVANIA

Wipfli announced the extension of its partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles, continuing its role as the organization's "official accounting firm." The firm has served as the Eagles' independent auditor for more than eight years, supporting the organization's financial practices and business operations.

UTAH

Haynie, Salt Lake City, launched Haynie IT, a new division providing fully managed IT and cybersecurity services.
