The Illinois CPA Society, Chicago, presented a series of awards. For its 2022 Lester H. McKeever Jr. Advancing Diversity Awards, the ICPAS bestowed its Outstanding Leader award to Nerissa Brown, an incoming associate dean of graduate programs and PwC faculty fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; and the Emerging Leader award to Sergio Rodriguez, senior manager in the global employer services practice at Deloitte.

The ICPAS 2022 Outstanding Educator Awards were: Natalie Churyk, the William F. Doyle Endowed Professor of Accountancy at Northern Illinois University; Paul Croitoru, an associate professor at Wilbur Wright College; and Nadia Schwartz, an associate professor at Augustana College.
