INDIA

Weaver announced an expansion into India with the opening of four offices across the country as Weaver and Tidwell India, a subsidiary of Weaver and Tidwell. Weaver's India operations will be led by director Suryanarayanan TS and includes offices in Kochi, Coimbatore and Bengaluru opened in January 2025, and a Chennai office scheduled to open in March 2025.

MASSACHUSETTS

Haefele, Flanagan & Co., Maple Shade, announced its founder, Robert Thomas Haefele, has died. Haefele founded the firm in 1967 as a sole proprietorship focused on meeting the specialized accounting needs of small and midsized businesses. 

NEW YORK

Faizan Younus was named the new managing principal at NCheng, New York, succeeding founder Nerou Cheng, who will assume the role of chairman. 

Tarek Ebeid was named private audit leader at KPMG, New York.

CohnReznick, New York, received the Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year Award ($75MM - $100MM) and Cross-Border Deal of the Year Award ($100MM - $1B) from The M&A Advisor. In other firm news, CohnReznick CEO David Kessler was named to The Consulting Report's Top 25 Consulting Firm CEOs list for a third consecutive year.
