The National Conference of CPA Practitioners, Woodbury, is rolling out a $1,000 scholarship, the Carol Markman CPA Accounting Scholarship, available only to a lineal descendant of a current NCCPAP member or an NCCPAP student member who is studying to be an accountant, and in honor of past president Carol Markman.
The American Institute of CPAs, New York, announced a new initiative, Controllers for a Cause Scholarship Fund, seeking to support the CPA pipeline with scholarships for students sitting for the CPA exam, developed by the Controllers Council and administered by the AICPA Foundation.
