The New Jersey Society of CPAs held its inaugural Accelerating Scholars in Accounting event May 16 at its office in Roseland, hosting more than 50 accounting students from universities, colleges and county colleges. The event included interactive discussions about the accounting profession and becoming a CPA and was sponsored by CLA, CohnReznick, Deloitte Foundation, Mazars, WilkinGuttenplan, Wiss and Withum.

Abby Lampe, financial services consultant at PwC, Raleigh, competed in and won the 2024 Cooper's Hill Cheese Rolling Competition in Gloucestershire, England, defending a title she also won in 2022.
