CONNECTICUT

The Financial Accounting Foundation board of trustees announced it is seeking nominations for new members to join the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council for an initial one-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2026. Nomination information is available here.

FLORIDA

Stefano Comotti was appointed chair of the global board of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Lake Mary, for 2025-26.

Duke Johnson

Duke Johnson, a senior accountant at KPM CPAs & Advisors, Springfield, earned his CPA license.

NEW JERSEY

Dan Laidlaw

Dan Laidlaw was hired as a partner at Rosenberg Rich Baker Berman and managing member at RRBB Advisors, Somerset, joining the assurance and SEC practices.

NEW YORK

CBIZ CPAs, New York, announced a restructuring that includes Jeff Gluck, previously national attest leader, appointed as president and CEO; Andrew Gragnani, previously president, transitioning to the role of chief operating officer; and Adam Clark as chief quality officer.

Fiona Campbell, Ernst & Young partner based in Melbourne, Australia, was named the new chair of the Forum of Firms by the International Federation of Accountants, succeeding David Isherwood, ethics partner at BDO UK, who has chaired the FoF since November 2017. (Read the full story.)
