On the move: Vokt to head BKR

Jeremy Vokt, the former managing partner of Bland & Associates, will become CEO of firm association BKR International in July; Eide Bailly named a slate of managing directors; Baker Tilly principal Andy Mattson has been named head of the AICPA Tax Executive Committee; PrimeGlobal reported double-digit growth in member revenue; and other firm and personnel news from across the profession.

Andy Mattson, a principal in the tax practice at Baker Tilly, Chicago, was appointed vice chair of the Tax Executive Committee for the AICPA. Mattson is expected to serve as chair of the committee following his term as vice chair. In his role, he will help oversee the AICPA's tax policy positions and statements on standards for tax services.

The International Federation of Accountants opened its 2027 call for applications for the Young Leaders Collective, seeking accounting students and early-career professionals with fewer than five years of experience to serve up to two one-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2027. The collective engages younger professionals with IFAC's initiatives on corporate reporting, artificial intelligence, professional accountancy organization member value, and the attractiveness of the profession. Applications are due July 8, 2026, with details available at ifac.org.

Jeremy Vokt was appointed CEO of accounting and business advisory firm association BKR International, London, effective July 1, 2026. Vokt previously served as managing partner at Bland & Associates, a BKR member firm for over three decades, and as chair of the Americas Region.

Accounting and advisory firm association PrimeGlobal, London, reported combined global revenues of $7.2 billion for 2026, representing a 12% increase year-over-year. The association now comprises 324 member firms across 128 countries, supported by 1,342 locations worldwide, with a total workforce of 57,312 professionals including 4,399 partners. Growth was driven by strong performance across multiple regions, most notably in Asia Pacific where revenue increased by 41%.
