The California Society of CPAs, Burlingame, has added a new Business Professional membership category designed for California residents who formerly held a CPA license. Any California resident who previously held a CPA license anywhere in the United States, that has not been suspended, surrendered or revoked in connection with any disciplinary action, is eligible for the new membership type at CalCPA.

FLORIDA

The Florida Institute of CPAs’ task force on diversity and inclusion, Tallahassee, established its goals and focus for 2021. The task force has a three-year goal to develop programs and services that members can use to champion diversity and inclusion within their firms, companies and the accounting profession at large.
