CONNECTICUT
Jeffrey Previdi was named vice chairman of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board, effective July 1, 2017, and succeeding Jan Sylvis, who served since Jan. 1, 2015 and marks 10 years of service on the board June 30.

Kevin Kruggel, partner at Kruggel Lawton CPAs, received the CPA Center of Excellence Award from the Indiana CPA Society, recognizing an individual or firm demonstrating excellence through collaboration, development of critical business (soft) skills, knowledge sharing and a competency-based approach to life-long learning.
