P. Scott Ozanus was appointed chairman of the Americas Region of KPMG by unanimous election of the firm’s Americas Board, choosing him to succeed Bill Thomas, the firm’s newly elected global chairman. As regional chairman, Ozanus will join KPMG’s Global Board and Executive Committee and maintain his current role as deputy chairman and chief operating officer of KPMG, which he has held since 2012.
Ross Forman was named managing director of the corporate real estate advisory services practice of BDO Consulting, New York.
James Dalkin was appointed incoming chair of the Consultative Advisory Group to the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, New York, effective April 1. His appointment, approved by the Public Interest Oversight Board, follows his election by representatives of the IAASB CAG.
Scott Baret was appointed vice chairman and leader of the banking and securities practice at Deloitte, New York, where he has been a partner with Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory. Baret succeeds Kenny Smith, a vice chairman, who was named into the role in 2014 and retains his position as Deloitte’s national financial services industry leader.
