Accounting ERP provider Sage announced new features for Sage Intacct that includes close automation, finance intelligence, compliance and expense management. Close Automation, currently available for U.S. and U.K. customers, brings together a suite of intelligent close capabilities — Close Workspace, Close Assistant, Subledger Reconciliation Assistant, and Variance Analysis — in one connected, Sage Copilot-guided experience that provides visibility across teams, tasks, and entities. The Finance Intelligence Agent, available for early access in December for U.S. and U.K. customers, delivers autonomous insights alongside existing Close, Accounts Payable, Time, and Assurance Agents. Sage also highlighted the new Equity Method for Advanced Ownership Consolidation, now available to customers in the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Canada, and South Africa, which automates equity accounting for complex, multilevel ownership structures, including partial ownership and multiparent rollups. Meanwhile, the new Sage Intacct PolicyConnect integrates policy administration systems with the general ledger, giving insurance organizations a unified view of operational and financial data. Finally, Sage Expense Management, formerly Fyle (which had been acquired in July), automates expense workflows with real-time spend notifications and AI-powered receipt capture and matching. It is now available to Sage Intacct customers in the U.S.. Sage also announced the rollout of its AI trust label.

TaxDome announces free bookkeeping hub

Practice management solutions provider TaxDome announced the launch of Bookkeeping Hub, included at no extra cost to current users. Bookkeeping Hub lets users view and manage all client transactions directly from their general ledger without ever leaving TaxDome. Uncategorized transactions can be sent directly to clients for review, then can be reclassified directly within TaxDome, and instantly sync all changes back to QuickBooks Online. Users can also request W9s, 1099s, bank statements, and more; clients can reply through desktop, mobile, or top-rated client mobile apps. The solution works by connecting each business's general ledger with the software, allowing transactions to flow automatically from QuickBooks online.

Qount announces UX/UI redesign

Accounting practice management solutions provider Qount announced the launch of its newly redesigned user experience and interface. The redesign is centered around the company's new QAI Hub, an intelligent homepage that organizes tasks, conversations, and alerts by priority — factoring in compliance risk, client sentiment, and deadlines. The hub features color-coded urgency levels and AI-driven priority scores, as well as contextual explanations for its insights. In addition, users can access an AI-powered analytics assistant that lets them simply type or speak to instantly find reports, metrics, and insights; a redesigned workspace offering both list and Kanban views for real-time visibility into tasks, blockers, and next steps; a simplified layout; and a global search function that allows users to find clients, tasks, reports, and records, complete with category filters and recent-search memory.

April teams up with NASDAQ

Tax technology platform april announced the launch of a real-time, personalized tax calculation product for equity transactions. The solution was developed with the support of NASDAQ Private Markets. Advisors can now estimate the tax impact of major financial events, such as exercising stock options, liquidating equity, or executing large portfolio transactions, and model how different actions affect after-tax outcomes. Private company shareholders will also be able to model equity sale scenarios and receive personalized tax estimates based on filing status, location, and sale assumptions, all within the Nasdaq Private Market platform.

Metronome rolls out new features for invoicing, pricing, data

Metronome, a monetization platform for service-based businesses, announced new products within the platform for pricing, invoicing and data. Users can now use the pricing features to adjust pricing and test new models directly across every go-to-market motion without engineering support. They can also use the new invoicing engine and native cloud marketplace integrations to power payments, generate contract-based invoices with native ERP sync, and support seamless marketplace integrations with GCP, AWS, and Azure. Finally, customers can now see live cost estimates before taking an action, pay invoices directly in-product, and receive proactive notifications on contract milestones.

GRC solutions provider Diligent announced the launch of Diligent Data Room, an AI-powered secure collaboration platform that serves as a centralized system of record for sensitive materials and corporate records. Diligent Data Room is part of an integrated governance platform, providing a single, secure environment that enables organizations to securely store, collaborate on, and manage sensitive documents internally. Specifically, the solution features AI document summaries, detailed engagement analytics and audit trails, granular user permissions with one-click secure sharing and member privacy controls, and security features like custom watermarking, enforced click-through NDAs, and view-only permissions, as well as native integration with Diligent Boards and Diligent Entities, as well as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
