UWorld Roger CPA Review updates CPA exam prep material

UWorld Roger CPA Review has released content updates to its CPA exam preparation materials. The biggest changes will center on two sections of the CPA Exam — auditing and attestation and business environment and concepts — that will now more prominently assess digital and data competence. There have also been some minor updates to the financial accounting and reporting and regulation exams. Learn more about the updates here.

Red Wing Software releases v. 16

Red Wing Software has released CenterPoint Version 16, which includes the following updates:

- Employee access to the time clock and other functionalities directly from the employee portal;
- Payroll information and any other information of choice can be added to the home section and edited by the payroll administrator; and,
- Employees can view and update their personal and tax information from the self-service section.

Bookkeep gets $3.3 million to develop data entry automation

Bookkeep, which makes data entry automation software for accountants, has closed its first venture-financing round, attracting $3.3 million. Bookkeep.com’s SaaS application aggregates financial data from e-commerce and point of sale systems, then summarizes and posts the data to the accountant’s accounting software. Bookkeep supports QuickBooks Online, Xero and others.
