Melville, N.Y. (March 11, 2003) -- Abrams and Co., a CPA firm headquartered here, has acquired the SEC practice of New York-based Merdinger, Fruchter, Rosen & Co.
Terms were not disclosed.
In addition, Merdinger, Fruchter, senior manager Robert Scherne will stay on with Abrams & Co. Scherne’s background with SEC clients includes Initial Public Offerings, as well as capital-raising registrations.
Abrams and Co. also services non-publicly held entities, not for profit, and municipal markets.
