AccountAbilities Expands in Pittsburgh, Partners in Miami

Staffing, marketing and management consulting provider AccountAbilities Inc. has opened a stand-alone office in Pittsburgh, as well as announcing a partnership with Miami firm Rachlin Cohen & Holtz.

The Pittsburgh office, which joins a similar facility in Orlando, will be managed by staffing specialists and provides a trio of services, including contact/consulting services, permanent placements and contract-to-hire opportunities.

"We had the opportunity to bring on board experienced professionals with accounting and financial Staffing backgrounds, who had established business relationships in the Pittsburgh business community," said president Allan Hartley, in a statement.

Hartley said that the Pittsburgh expansion is part of the company's strategy of extending its reach through partnerships with accounting and other professional firms across the country. He said the plan is for the office to eventually partner with a regional CPA firm.

AccountAbilities also recently announced a contract award to provide services to Rachlin Cohen & Holtz. Hartle said that billing on placement activity for the firm would begin within the next month. Rachlin Cohen & Holtz ranked No. 70 on Accounting Today's 2006 list of Top 100 Firms, with revenues of $33 million. The firm is a member of Baker Tilly International.
